Bad Username / Password

When i go to the login screen, type in my password, it says Bad USername / Password. But i can still log into the forums? They are the same login procedures no? Any idea why this is happening anyone?

Does it say station error or eqemu error? Check out the error guide link in my sig. You can probably find the answer to your question there...

Yes, and it was entirely unhelpful on this point. I was using my name/password earlier today just fine, played me account every day in the last week, have the proper shortcut and eqhost file. I can log into the forums here with my name & account. I'm simply unable to log into EQemu with it.

It was a replication error, about 30% of the accounts werent replicated properly when we switched to the new login servers. It has been fixed now, if your still having a problem email me at LethalEncounter@eqemulator.net with your username.

Sent an email last night to the email account your provided, but am not sure you received since I didn't get an answer.

Still can't login now. I'm afraid there's something wrong with my account. I created it last night, and The error I am getting is the same reported by Hireko. My username is nighthiker (of course).

I would really appreciate if you have any advice.

Did you create a login account?

1. If you dont have a forum account, you must register one. After you register a forum account, you will still need to register a login server account because we arent going to be using the forum usernames/passwords anymore.

2. Login to your forum account and click the profile link from the top forum menu. On the profile page, under your username you will find a unique key. That key will be needed to activate a new login server account.

3. Change your eqhost.txt file to the following:

"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"

4. Using the everquest client, click Account, New. The only information we need you to fill in is your email address (it must match your forum accounts email address), your cdkey (Login Server Activation Key located in step 2), your station name (new account name you want), password, and your user handle for chat purposes. Although this is the only information we use, the eq client makes you fill in some of the fields.

5. After your account is created, you will be able to login and play everquest as normal. You can only have 3 login server accounts associated with your forum account. If you want more than that, you will need to register another forum account.

The process has changed... If you read the "How to Play" Guide, you won't have a login account.
