Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Question GUI XML Files?
Hey guys, im new to EQ emu friend on eq told me about it, and I did everything I was told but when I try and click on the EQhost icon it opens up a black screen ( as if it were going to log me into everquest) then I get this error, "Error in your GUI XML files. Check UIerrors.Txt" Can someone please help me?!

The files you are using under the UIFILES/ folder are not from the same era as the rest of the client. The client cannot run with those incompatible files.

It is against eqemu policy to provide you with, or for you to request, any portion of the eq client. If you don't have an archive of those from somewhere, you'll have to wait for live compatible.
