Question Need compatible EQemu

I have this version of EQ:
Code:
SHORT VERSION: SEQ8A667
LONG VERSION: EQ10F6C5D8579C384AAACC9FA61E2727A6B8291587
and I am looking for a compatible version of EQemu ... any way of checking what EQemu is compatible with this version of EQ?

The program EQvercheck can tell me what version are currently used for LS and EMU's:
Code:
[Versions]
SEQC1167=eqemulator.net:5998
SEQA3767=eqemulator.net:5998
SEQ12167=eqemulator.net:5994
SEQB8A67=216.117.177.125:5995
[Server]
SEQC1167=0.6.2
SEQA3767=0.6.1
SEQ12167=0.6.0
SEQB8A67=0.5.7
but only 0.5.7 - 0.6.0 - 0.6.1 - 0.6.2 are listed. Arent there an older version of EQemu thats possibly compatible and if so, how do I check it ... sourceforge has a long list of EQemu's lying around and I was hoping that maybe one of them were compatible.

And if it is not possible how can I make my EQ to match "SEQA3767=0.6.1" or "SEQC1167=0.6.2"? Is there a backpatch somewhere?

I don't think you find a eqemu version for each everquest software version :(
Without LS server, this version can't work also :(
For backpatch read this :http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=17237

Ohhh ... sorry, I knew I shouldnt ask for an entire version of EQ, but I must have missed the part about back-patches ... many apologies.

But with regards to checking version numbers on older EQemu engines ... how do I do that? Any ideas?

Couldnt it work with minilogin? I know, dont expect help with minilogin, but theoretical?

But otherwise I will just have to patch up to EQlive and await the next release

Thanks to you all for the great work on EQemu /BOW

New version of Eq client replace old..
You can't return back :( you have only current version (show by curentversion program).
Minilogin problem is same than LS problem, you need a minilogin compatible, and few are available.

For live compatibility, i send just a little advice :
Patch your everquest (Working now with peq Test server)
and zip it on a DVD (for future).
EQEMU 0.6.2 release is near to come !!! and you need this client

I figured that would be the best solution, so I already patched EQ with live (on my server) and are now awaiting matching EQemu.

Thanks all, for your help ... much friendlier (and WAY faster) help than from SOE

>>>EDIT<<<

Can it be that the august 11 patch has the following SHORT VERSION STRING : SEQ45867 ? (All expansions downloaded, except upcomming)
