Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default eqhost.txt help
i edited my eqhost.txt file so it looks like this

[Login Servers]
Host=eqemulator.net:5994

now when i try to connect it says it cannot find server check eqhost.txt.....
what did I do wrong.

The error i get is Error 1010 server not found check that eqhost.txt exists in your everquest directory.

it does and it looks right to me, i havent patched after 9/13 i been playing on SoD for the last 2 months, and wanted to check out some other servers. any help would be great.

SoD is compatible with Eqemu 0.5.7 (if i'm right)
Your client isn't compatible with Eqemu 0.6.2.
You can't play on this... Sorry.

will eqemu be updating to the 9/13 eqlive patch? If so when it does will i be able to patch live and then play on eqemu servers?
