Default Figured out how to make combat procs!

I figured out how to make combat procs by fooling with a database using FQadmin...but now I need to find out how to convert the database to .sql file type so I can make the items available. :p I have a small list of items right now, but once I can get these converted to sql I'll be doing it for any items in the databases that are supposed to be procs but aren't listed as such. For now I've fixed Blade of Carnage, Jaelen's Katana, Gharn's Rock of Smashing, and added Hategiver and Bloodfrenzy.

Can anyone help me on converting the database back to .sql?

I really think that you should post what you have on the forums. That way we can all enjoy it. I know Ariak has been looking into figuring it out but if you post what you have on the forums we can all use it and help you out in the process.

Right now what I have is the database files that eqemu reads, I'll see about getting a host set up for them and putting a link.

To convert the db to a sql file you would need mysqldump. Just to mysqldump database table > filename.sql

Hmm I do that and it looks like it is creating an sql file, but I can't find the file after it's done. :/

Killspree, if you see sql like lines on the screen your not creating a file. Make sure you have > filename.sql part. Then look for the filename.sql file in your mysql\bin directory.

And I think what theclause meant was post what you think you did to get the proc to work (or how you went about it), but the database would be nice too.

Default Here's what I did to get them to work as procs...

I used a combination of item editors to get it right. I created the item in FQadmin 2.3 due to the diety bugs with newly created items in 2.5 and 2.6 and had the effect number entered.

I then opened it with the item editor Kaiyodo created(get it from this thread), and selected the item I created with FQadmin.

You'll notice the effect number for items is either 0, 2, or 4. 0 is combat proc, so set the effect to 0.

Now it may be a tad buggy due to the programs not being 100% compatable, so after you set the effect number to 0(not the spellid, leave the spell id as what the effect is), click send to database and close out the editor.

Open up FQadmin 2.6 and find your item. You'll notice that the effect area radio buttons, NONE are checked, leave it that way! Just click commit changes and it SHOULD set the items to proc as combat effects if you want them to be.

Now fair warning, you may have to do this a couple times like I said due to compatability issues between the programs, but it does work after a couple changes in the two.

1) You messed up the levels in almost all items
2) Your item images on the weapons are horribly off.

Hope that helps :(

Yeah I didn't know the item image numbers for hategiver and bloodfrenzy. :p

Hmm...I'll take a look at the item levels, could have sworn they were right.
