Quick question.
Currently as of today, Aug 5, 2007, can you still create a stable and fun server on a windows vista machine with the Titanium package of EQ?

I don't know that anyone ever said Vista was a sure thing with this emulator - but I doubt there would be a problem that wasn't Vista-specific.
Try it. It takes about 5 mins to setup.
Ok, maybe 10.

Yes, the emulator works along with titanium on Vista. I have ran both public and minilogin in vista with no issues, other than a firewall issue which seemed itermetent.....
You can look at my guide. The screenshots for the begining of the guide are in XP, and then I finished the guide off testing its compatibility in vista, so the screenshots reflect that.

Creating a server on Vista
Well, I am having the same question...I am trying to run a server on Windows Vista, because I don't have much access to a computer with XP. I am having some major troubles =\ I just may be braindead and can't fix it myself, but hopefully I can have some help here ^.^; Anywho...When I download MySQL 5.0.45, it gives me the installer thing. It then pops up a message saying, "this installiationpackage is not supported by your processor type." I am trying to find another version of MySQL, but xan't seem to find, OR be able to download, one...Any suggestions or working links one could suggest? Anything would be extremely helpful! (Had one person at my house, he can't seem to fix my MySQL angst either =\ )

As far as I know, but am researching, I can find no way to run MySQL on Windows vista systems, like my computer =\ It clearly states that Vista is not compatable on the MySQL site, it only goes up to Windows 2003...There are some sites that say others have found ways to access MySQL on Vista, but they were different versions of MySQL, over our v5.0.37...Once again, tips and guides are much appreciated :^.^;
