Default How Emu Works

Hello. I'm sure this is somewhere on the forum, but can anyone tell me how to set this up step by step. Or could you link me to a step by step guide.

I don't even have EQ (lost CD years ago) but can I download the required files somewhere for free? Or will the EQ from SOE's website trial work?

Don't make duplicate posts, please. I answered some of your questions in your other post.

No, you cannot legally download the right files you need for free. Either spend the 20$ to get a legal copy of Titanium or you won't get any support from these forums. Talk of getting the files illegally will get you banned. The forum rules that you agreed to should have already made this clear.

I linked a guide in your other post.

I am not meaning to be rude, but there is plenty of information available to help answer your questions if you spend a little time to look for it. We are always open to questions, but in most cases you can find the answer quicker if you just look. Certain things have been asked many many times and should be pretty easy to find a related post about them. I know it can be hard starting out completely new to something, so questions aren't bad. Feel free to ask them, but expect a short answer if they have been asked a million times already. Welcome to the emulator

My apologies for the duplicate post. Thank you for your help.

I had no intention of getting an illegal copy. I'm strongly against illegal file sharing. I was just hoping SOE gave out all of the essential files with their current trial or something, but it looks like I'll have to grab titanium. No worries.

Right now I just want to use a GM mode server or something like that to explore all the old zones. What I'm really hoping for is that eqclassic.org project to be finished some day. That sounds more ideal to me than anything.

Try reading the Wiki. It has an abundance of useful information. Here is a link to the playguide which has a step by step process of getting setup to play the emulator:
