Default Problem: New Player Starting Zones

For some reason all of the players on my server are now starting in Qeynos... regardless of race/class.

Interestingly, when I started the server, all of the players were starting in the right places. I'm not sure when the change happened.

The obvious problem would be the startzone variable in the "variables" table, but it is set to nothing (blank).

Any ideas on what I could do to fix it?

(I've looked in the start_zones table, and all of the race/class/zone combinations appear to be right. Database = AX_Classic 3.

Any ideas?

Maybe try removing the start zones line from the variables table. My guess is that since Qeynos is zone number 1 and you left the field blank, that it is defaulting to the first zoneid in the zone list. If you remove that variable, it should set them all to start in their own zone from the start_zones table again.

Good guess; that's exactly what I did, and it fixed the problem.

I appreciate the suggestion.
