Default Modified Items

First off, let me offer my apologies if this is the incorrect area to post this question. I tried searching the forums, the wiki and Google but couldn't find any specific information to help me.

I set up the server, got it working no problems. There are some really great guides in the Wiki. My purpose in setting up this server was just to have fun with a few of my friends, as we all used to play EQ back in the day. In doing so, I tried to use an application called "Item Editor" to create some ridiculous items for fun; however, after making so many item modifications, they will not load on my characters within EQ.

I am thinking maybe I stepped outside some accepted boundaries for item stats, or am missing something necessary. I can insert items, and make small modifications successfully. If anyone could provide any info, or simply point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. If needed I can post screen shots of the modifications I attempted (and yes, they are completely ridiculous, but hey I'm just looking to have fun). And again, I apologize if this is the incorrect location to ask this question.

Thank you.
