Default Introduction

Being new to the forums, I thought I'd let people know a little about me. I was programmer for gameboy, super nintendo, and gamecube games for many years. After getting out of the console game I decide to shift gears and become a teacher, which I know do teaching mostly AP physics and Cal.

I am a pretty good "blackbox" programmer. That is if I have a spec of what you want done, I am very good at implementing it. However, I'm pretty poor at the big picture stuff. I couldn't have setup the initial eqemu project. I'm always amazed at people who can envision large projects and get them working.

Anyway, if you have sections of code your working on and either are interested in help/fresh eyes. Or a project on the back burner feel free to email me and ask me for some help. My address is tonychamberlain1996@gmail.com

Tony

P.S. On the EQ side I played warrior at the raiding level from release till POP.. Took a break and came back to a guild that went form GOD to Solteris. So i'm pretty familiar with how live works.

Welcome to EQEmu, Tokatok, and thanks for the code submissions you have posted so far. I look forward to seeing what you can do once you familiarize yourself with the code more

Keep in mind that even though the project is very well developed and the big picture is pretty grand now, it didn't start that way. When EQEmu was first being developed in the Hackersquest days, the only thing you could really do was log in and explore a zone and maybe spawn some frozen human models. It has come very far since then and is very well developed. The code isn't perfect, since many people have been involved in writing it, but overall, I am impressed with the entire project.

I am moving this thread to the general section as it isn't directly related to Development, BTW.

Instead of having things working, we just amused people with crazy pictures!
