Default I updated PEQ, now my spells won't work.

EQ Emu noob here.

I updated PEQ, now my spells won't work.

I initially installed the PEQ Server Pack 4.0-1110a, using offline bots option, everything working great until I'm advised that the reason why I can't complete some quests is because this is a very old database.

So. I installed the Update Pack 4.0-1129 Rev 233, and update Perl to
v5.8.8 - 822. Login works, my bots are still there, my gear is still there, but my spells don't work. I also tried installing builds 824 and 825 with similar results, but went back to 822.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get the spells working?

Thanks

Make sure you move your spells_us.txt file from your EQ Titanium directory into your server folder (eqemu or whatever you called it).

Trevius - Thanks for the quick response.

Spells_us.txt does not seem to have been affected by the update. It was added to my server directory initially during the Server Pack installation, and it's still there. Spells always worked fine until I updated.

I am thinking this is a Perl issue or maybe a database issue, but I don't know enough about how EQEmu works to put my finger on the cause of the problem. The only way I was able to evem get EQEmu working in the first place was by using CaveDude's server pack install. I am betting that the solution is probably something obvious -- I just don't know where to start.

"Copy" your spells_us.txt file, he means, of course. :P

Also, make sure your Maps folder contains all the map files for your zones.
