Default Bot inventory doesn't work

I'm using peq revision 1410 and when I attempt to source load_bots.sql into my database I get quite a few errors, mostly 1005 (can't create table) but also lots of error 1064. I did some research and found a possible solution that involved sourcing in the bot databases manuall in a specific order.

However, I still get alot of errors when sourcing them in one at a time (mostly error 1064, again). Everything related to bots seemed to work fine except that when I gave them an item, it just vanished. I have mysql 5.0 and perl 5.10.1.1007

I've also made sure to use the files from the svn but it yielded the same result. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Apologies if this is the wrong forum, I didn't think it was a development issue so I put it here.

Edit2: Yes definitely the wrong forum, my apologies. Im frazzled from trying to get this working.
