questions about installing eq titanium

i dl'ed eq titanium through vuze and im now using daemontools to install it.
when the installshield wizard starts, i get an error message from the wizard:

Setup has experienced an error.
please do the following:
-close any running programs
-empty your temporary folder
-check your internet connection (internet-based setups)

then try to run the setup again
error code: 6001

tried doing all that stuff, dunno what the temporary folder is.. my connection works, obviously.
what'd i do wrong? how do i fix this?
any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
