Default Need some advice here.

So I bought a new PC today. I installed Titanium, I changed the host file as I'm supposed to, then created my shortcut on my desktop and changed the target as I'm supposed to. EQ is still trying to connect to the live server. What gives? I've installed Titanium and done it correctly a couple other times on my old PC with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Your most likely culprit: eqgame.exe patchme, not everquest.exe.

This was the exact wording in the target for the patcher: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe" patchme

Going to uninstall and try it again.

Is there an issue with Windows 7 that has come up where it attempts to patch even after following the correct steps in setting up EQ?

So I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Titanium 3 times now and followed the steps correctly. It's still trying to patch to live. This PC is new, uses Windows 7. Has there been any issue with Windows 7 or anything?

Nevermind. I fixed it. Created a shortcut from the eqgame file instead of the Everquest file and followed the correct steps and it works.
