Default Launch server and client login

I used this guide to set up my server:
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/sho...d.php?p=193362

Sorry if this is blatantly obvious to everyone else but I have two questions:

1. How do I start the server?

Been searching the forums and have not found anything. It's gotta be simple right? Anyone post a link for me?

2. How do I login to it with the client once it is started?

I have been logging into public EQEmu servers with my client install, do I need to change something to log into the local box? (The local box is in fact the very same computer--both client and server.)

Thanks

1. You start the server with the batch file in you eqemu folder, or open world.exe, wait a few seconds for it to load then open eqlauncher.exe and zone.exe (which is what the batch file would do for you.)

2. You log onto it like you would any other public server. once you have world.exe. running, and assuming there are no errors, it will appear in the list of servers. If you just have world.exe running, then the server will be locked.

You will need to change your eqhost.txt (in your Everquest directory) to reflect your server's address.

If you're running on the same machine it would be 127.0.0.1:5999 (or 5998 if that's the port you chose) instead of eqemulator.net:5998
