FYI, zoning is a little slow, it hangs, but you eventually zone.

Edit: Nm, I fixed this bug

Logged into char screen fine, checked and created a character fine, went to enter world and it starts loading but stops before it finishes loading... and just crashes to server screen.

Edit' Ok, well, second attempt worked, i guess there's no bug :p
I'll edit if i see anything

Editx2. #race seems to send you into some wierd loop, view gets locked and i continuously am below the world, no matter what #goto i type.

This is my first time ever testing Everquest but I noticed some weird bug with the creatures. When attacking them and running away, they followed but everytime the creatures position was updated it 'jumped' to the air and dropped, like there were false height variable in the packet. The height seemed to be constant at all time (warping the creature to the same height everytime it took a step). This happened many times as I were playing.

thats not a bug, thats just because there is no pathing set up.

Ranged doesn't work anymore it seems.
Atleast not on Image's latest server.

I was keeling in crushbone (woohah!) and got stuck looting a corpse.. it gave error:

LootItem: Being Looted By != client

and I had to exit to get to stand up again. :P

Btw, this is really cool to play on

I tried to log in not a few moments ago and it seems that i get stuck at the Name verification thinger.....it just sits there....nothing but the noises of my phantom charaacter swinging some phanton weapon =)...

And no =)..i didn't patch

My first attempt went smoothly. Logging in, no problem. Created a Hi Elf Enchanter. No problem.

Started in the right place with Shallow Breath and Minor Shielding - good
Also had Book of Discord.

No food, no water and instead of the note for the guildmaster I had a Courage Spell.
Decided to look around. Crashed on zoning.

That is all so far. Am going to try a different race/class and see what happens

Update:
Tried D-Elf Cleric. Same problem. Crashed on Zoning. Had a club this time.

Your suppose to patch lol, as for the zoning issue, im not sure whats wrong I havent had any issues, make sure if your using EQW you dont switch tasks while zoning, that causes crashing, paste your dbg.txt see what it says.

I have the zoning Problem too. I don't use EQW because evertime I try to log on with a Character EQ exits.

Nice server first, I too had the zone crashing but that isnt my problem, when you say we are supposed to patch did you mean patch to the lastest to date or patch to 10-21 or what?

I log on fine, get through to server list, pick Image's Server, on screen with Newbie human warrior it switches to You have been disconnected screen.
