Mage solo mobs that summon

Does anyone have and tips or tricks on how to chain pets on summoning mobs on p99? I have tried countless times and even if i time it perfectly, the mob still gets a summon off inbetween pets and my spell is interrupted...gg. It would be nice to be able to solo the skyfire named cycle or cliff golems.
