Default Simple Question

This seemed like the right forum to post this is, if its not feel free to delete it and what not.

I had to reformate my hard-drive while ago, losing all my EQemu files. Now it was with an odd version of the EMU something like 3.8..not 100% sure. Well now I know the lastest patches from Verant have broken the EMU at its current point. So i am wondering, is there a version of the EM out there that will run if i just install up to the planes and power and i do not patch?
Also is there an old database to go with it?

Thanks
