Minilogin working but no server to log in to...

I can login fine but there are no servers shown. Mysql is running and shows server as being "up". I run Minilogin, World then Boot5 then run eqgame thru eqw. I'm not real sure what all info you need as I am not getting an error message. I am running all on one machine, not trying to login from another (that comes later after I get this figured out)

probably your loginserver.ini is messed up

:idea: can you post here the the .ini and .bat files,
erasing username and pw

just to ask, are you running EQemu AND EQ on the same box? I assume you are, and have you set the eqhost.txt file correctly in your EQ directory? If all else fails, post the contents of ALL dos windows (especially minilogin and world)...

First i appologize for the multiple posts. I get an errror when replying so try again.

ok here's what I am getting on Minilogin after I log in and see no servers:

Loginserver.ini read.
MiniloginAccounts.ini read.
Server mode: Standalone
Login server listening on port:5999
136328 New client from ip: 127.0.0.1 port:1166

I am at server select but no servers are listed.

another fix not working:

this may be why I can't post what world.exe says since it denies me access =/ and i don't seem to be able to get any permissions set without access.

have u edit the file db.ini, looks like the problem ?

db.ini looks like this now and still no "server" to choose from after I login:

Ok..can get to server select and actually see a server now, but its locked. Getting the following error in world.exe

If the database is bad or the wrong one can you please link to where I may obtain a good/correct version please, along with the name of the database.

Easy to set up, just source the DB , add accts and play.

DB and EXEs there , make sure you set up your loginserver.ini and db.ini, if you're running locally , make sure you add account info into the miniloginaccounts.ini too.

It would be nice if you would say how you figured out how to get server to show. This is the only post I could find with this problem

I have checked and rechecked everything 6 times and cannot figure out the problem... would like to know what you did. My brain is completely frizzled right now :cry:

This looks like a combination of mis-matched EXEs/DLL , and an outdated DB.

hmm I did GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES... blah blah blah
but forgot to do "world.exe adduser eqemu eqemu 200"
when I did do this I got:

any idea why I get access denied? I did the GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES and seemed to work fine until I tried adduser /shrug
