Not sure if this is a code problem or database problem or version problem:

Here's what happens:

This is on my server, don't know if other servers have the same problem. I can create a character, use skills advance and everything works great. Except any skill that a character does NOT start with can't be trained, or advanced.

For instance I level a necromancer up to 4, I go to the trainer and the train dialog opens. I click on meditate and it shows it advanced and the training point pool goes down. But as soon as I log, or change zones the skill reverts back to 0 and my training points are returned.

The only way I'm able to get a new skill is by using a GM account and setting that skill manually. Which works but then the skill NEVER advances no matter how much I use them.

Any ideas?

I noticed that as well. So after I train a new skill, I usually issue a #save to make sure it's updated in the database.

didn't seem to work for me. Still I'll give it another go.

Check your class_skill table, it controls the who gets what when and at what value it gets trained at initialy
