ok, ive been reading up on all this, and i just need to know how i can get this whole CVS thing to work, or as above, the two dirctories deal... PLEASE

If you have the eqlive client you can only play on servers running version 0.5.0DR1+. The smart thing to do would be make two directories and keep 1 patched to eqlive at all times (if you still play live) and the other not patched until the dev team has made sure that the future version of eqlive doesnt break anything.

Ok, im gettin really confused now.
Ive always had a seperate directory for EQEmu, do now that the ducky doesnt work, how do i get in? If i try to run EverQuest.exe in my EQEmu directory, it starts to patch, and for someungodly reason, i cant use the ""C:\EqEmu\eqgame.exe" patchme thing... lil help plz

ok, fix one problem, encounter another
i had the run thing under wrong thing, fix that and i cant get past acct screen, 1001 error, even if i put in totally offbeat names/pwords.... PLEASE FRIGGIN HELP ME!

EDIT: ok, got ON! click on guild wars: goto char select screen: get disconnected when i hit enter world
go to a 0.5.0 server, click, and, GUESS WHAT! says somin bout update patch... wont let me even to char select screen :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: \

the patcher is down of u use teh patcher to play eqemu and u have the eqemu version use eqw 2.32
