Game creators

howdys all,
figured i'd go fishing and see what kinda game designer/creator programs you folks might know about. Awhile back i checked heavily into realm crafter as well as a few other game designers (GameMaker, etc). but am trying for somthing a little different this time around.

im specificly looking for a designer modeled to build games simmiliar to Total War games or even starcraft/age of empires/warcraft/etcetcetc styled games.

even somthing as simplistic as a builder for Axis&Allies or Complex-Risk-Rules design. been playing around with TripleA and its quite modable but looking for a lil more "open" design.

just figured i'd see what secrets you gurus know about.

sorry for the double, truely ment to add this query to the original post.

anyone have some input regarding FPSCreator ? prices are better than many and looks pretty decent. i know it dosnt match my above criteria but still might be fun to build a good zombie "sim" definately seems to be a popular theme for games done by that proggy but i have a couple ideas for amusment in mind. (think FPS Player-v-Player-v-Zombies! )
