Default eqw crashing after patched by eqemu patcher

okay, I'm running windows xp (i've tried both cd and newest drivers for my geforce 3)
I' got the latest detanator drivers for my geforce 3
and the same thing has happened after i patch things with the
eqemu patcher and i go to run eqw it trys to go into full screen mode and when it does the screen res blinks and changes then i see my windows cursor over top of my eq cursor and as soon as i click it, it goes black and its frozen but it doesnt say its not responding
so i can just close it like normal or when i hit enter it closes.

Can Someone Please Help Me. I have noticed other people with similar problems but nobody has really posted any real help or mentioned if there can even be any help for this problem. Anyway i hope someone can help .

I've had exactly the same problem. All you have to do is, remove EQEmu, EverQuest, delete the EQ directory and then reinstall EverQuest, patch to the latest version, install EQEmu and blah blah blah. It should work after that.
