Hi, im mysql newb, how do i delete database and start over?

ok i got confused between using db.sql and other sql mixed together, and its stuck in eq db, how do i delete eq db ? ... i been trying many different command for mysql.exe (i dont know any command!)

i tried this 'delete eq;' does nothing, i tried this 'erase eq;' does nothing. .. need more friendly mysql.exe =/

well i just leave eq db alone and create new one eq2, then changed db.ini eq to eq2...

now new problem, i type in command.

cd c:\eqemu
world.exe flag (forum account) 200

[status] current_world_version:eqemu 0.4.4-dr1
[error] current_world_version:eqemu 0.4.4-dr1
account being GM flagged:(forum account), Level: 200
account: (forum account) does not exist, therefore it account be flagged database.SetGMFlag failed.

am i using wrong version world.exe or something?

ok i went search thru forum and found this

Go into mysql and type:
1) Use eq (or whatever your database is called)
2) INSERT INTO account SET name='account',password='yourpass',status=200
3) Also i find it good to go ahead and do the:
world.exe flag account 200

and it fixed, theres no info on fixing 'account does not exist' nowhere on eqemu.net readme, is it good idea to add this on readme? kthx

i got flagging done, but 1 more error left, im about to give up trying start up my own server...

Loading EQ time of day... "./eqtime.cfg" is NOT a vaild EQTime file. File version is 0; EQTime version is 1000 - failed.

help?

The EQTime error happens to everyone I think, ignore it as it isn't stoping the server from running.

As far as mysql commands go, the mysql developers went to a lot of trouble to make a nice manual for it, please take a little time to at least look at it. The index isn't that hard to navigate, and will get you right to the commands you need nad their syntax.

my server went on eqgame.exe server list, but LOCKED... all those world pop up (from Boot5zones), all of them on bottom says

WorldServer connect: Connecting to the server failed: TCPConnection::Connect():connect() failed. Error: 10061
[Error] worldserver.Connect() FAILED!
[Status] Entering sleep mode

i tried to enter my server with serverOP status, and it says 1017

I highly recommend reading both the readme that came with the EQEMu build you are using, as well as learning some of the more basic MYSQL commands.

There is also a wealth of information to be found within these forums. Many of the problems you may encounter have already been solved.

i can log on other people's server but i cant log on my own server (ya i know 172.0.0.1 what ever it is works, but not whatsmyip website + cmd -> ipconfig)
