YAY!! Everquest finally works!! But still some questions
After the recent updates I've finally got Everquest to work and it was on the Fish-Wolf server but I was just wondering about some things that are cool but take some of the enjoyment out of the game. I got in as a barbarian and ran straight in the water because I was just happy and felt like going for a swim but then as my oxygen ran out my health started going down and then jumping straight back up leading me to believe theres an invincibilty thing going on in EQEmu. I was just wondering if theres a way to turn this off and turn off things like maximum magic and all the other 'advantages' so i can just play EverQuest like it used to be on Live. If this is a stupid question just please be nice since I am kinda new and its my first time I've actually got on a server properly. Thanks

Until combat equations are resolved, everyone has pretty uber regen. If you want it to be like live, you need to help find these bugs that stop us from making it like live.

a_Guest, by 'help find the bugs' what exactly does that mean. What am I looking for exactly. Do you mean it as in bugs in the game or analyzing code or what. Sorry you just need to be a little more specific.

we really just need people to post the bugs they find to the bug forums. As you can see, noone posts anything, so alot of bugs that are easy to fix are unknown to us developers. Post anything you see no matter how small. (Assuming its not database related of course)

I have no motherboard, no modem, and no server. My computer is gutted, and I'm about to move for college. I don't even have all of my clothes available anymore. Maybe in two months I can scrounge together a server.
