Default question

is it possible to run a server thats on a dsl router???i have tried but nothing seem to work.i have read almost to the point of my eye bleeding.

possible yes...I don't know mch about how to do it, but I know you have to change a bunch of port settings on your router so that the comp that is running the server sits on the dns. Dig a lil and you will find posts about it.

Is your server running priv or pub ips? cause if it's running priv then you will have to change some configs to forward packets to your server from your pub ip on your router. if you are running pub ips on your server then you will have to open the ports on your router for your clients to connect to your server. course if your running the server on an xp machine then you will have to disable to firewall or build rules for the eqemu ports.

need more info on your config to answer your question with any detail.
