Does the emu work with the Platinum Edition? If so, which version is it compatible with?

No, only works with a specific patch version (Don't ask for it), and Titanium out of the box. ((Points to the top of the forums, specificly the green letters))

Your best bet is to go buy Titanium, install it, but do not patch. Change your eqhost and eqgame.exe and play. Detailed instructions are in the wiki. Hope to see you online!

Yeah, the board admins are a little less than patient here. I think they expect everyone to have read everything and the reality is that nobody reads everything before asking questions. Expecting them to read the stickies is an exercise in self-torture because most (read: 90% or more) won't even read those before posting something.
Then again, I'm a buddhist and simply take things as they come to me, so very little actually bothers me. I don't mind answering the same question 500 times for 500 different people. I simply use it as an opportunity to point them in the direction of the information, not bash them over the head with it.

Lol,
I understand, it was hard to say "read the doc" when user ask about a very hard problem.
But when the user ask "how use ?" before read the doc, i understand why the board admins are a little less than patient here :p
