 | I've been trying to make a reply to a few threads here, but seems like I can't if put in too many lines. I thought maybe you all got tired of my yip-yap. I tried from three different machines here, and even made a new account. So I thought my IP was blacklisted. what ever i pcked up, started yesterday.
What I get is something like "http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/newreply.php not found". |

Ah! I feel yer pain, mate. I posted about this somewhere earlier along with a question about eqemu crashing...never did figure that out, so now I play on my dinky laptop and the 21" monitor runs the black command prompt server...anyways, AVOID SPECIAL CHARACTERS, including parenthesis, hyphens, and strange alt characters such as arabic lettering. I don't know what the deal is, but the forums do that to me too, and then I deleted all parenthesis and hyphens and it was all great. Really odd...and really, really blows for programming, if'n ye be askin' me. The root of the problem? Eh, beats me. |

This must be the problem as I have my reply pasted to a text file and was copy/pasting the same thing. I'll go through it and see how I can do with out the parenthesis and all. |

the forums filter on anything with non-ASCII chars in them, or anything which looks like it could be some sort of code injection attack, as well as many common exploit-looking things... generally tweaking your post to not look like executable code will help a lot. |
