Default Another Newb looking for help!

Ok I followed the Wiki's instructions on installing MySQL, Perl, Cavedudes Serverpack and went ahead and got MySQLCC, mostly cuz it makes things easier for me. Ok, I can see and log onto the lan server, create a toon, and even enter world... Now my problem becomes zoning. I can't zone out of my starting area. Not even with the GM commands! I know I've had to overlook something, but not a clue what. Please help!

Edit: I've been searching on the forums for about 2 hours, and can't seem to find anyone with problems like mine. Maybe I am just lucky. LOL.

Well, Luckily I found out the problem there, I needed the newest binaries and sources. Now, I seem to have the same problem that others are having. At the Character Creation screen I get that message "Zone not Available"

When you got all the "LATEST" sources and binaries, did you happen to read the change log and see all the changes you MUST make to your SQL DB?

Here is an example...

UPDATE `npc_types` SET `hp_regen_rate` = '0' WHERE `hp_regen_rate` = '-1';
UPDATE `npc_types` SET `mana_regen_rate` = '0' WHERE `mana_regen_rate` = '-1';

There are several in the change log that you must enter in your SQL program of choice.

Ok, latest update, Got almost everything up and running. It seems like everytime I post a problem, I manage to get the solution shortly after that. LOL. Anyway, now I am trying to get others to connect to my Minilogin Server. I think there is a prob with my Test machine. I've opened ports, disabled my firewall and other things, and yet when my friend tries to log in, Have the server select screen, he gets booted back to the login screen. But we are trying something now, so hopefully it works. Well, Thanks to everyone who offered advice, and thanks to those who helped others with problems like mine!
