Default Server Question

Hi guys, excuse the newb question here. I looked around for a possable answer to my question here but I was able to find anythign that jumped out at me.

I followed everything that was written here on this page http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...indowsServer70 to try to set up a server. I was able to configure everything exactly how it was listed (after a little trouble that is).

Now that everything is configured, what do I need to do to run the server where I can play it on my computer. I want to play with it for awhile before I actually try running a public server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I would suggest using this guide. It still works, just make sure you use the right version of the emulator.

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...=ws70845mysql5

This will help you set up the MiniLogin so you can play on your own LAN.
I am working on a updated guide for the wiki, It will be up there tommorw hopefully so if you want you can check back then. Otherwise, Kayots guide works perfect.

Awsome, thank you so much. I will try that out and see what happens. After you get your new guide up and running are you going to post a link to it here?
