EXPMod has been replaced by the rule Character:ExpMultiplier so that should be used instead. As for the others, well like most entries in the ancient mostly broken variables table, they don't work properly. The randomness is part of the issue, but the large amount of XP they got was due to having a 4x multiplier AND a 1.5x zone multiplier. That's a lot of XP!
Eventually, I am sure AA and the group bonus will be ported over to rules. Though, I do know group bonuses are not working properly.
