Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default Database tables that control quests input?
Would someone please give me a hand on understanding what controls the input/output for quests? I do not mean the pearl part, but what happens when you give the results of a quest to a character.

I assume that it is controlled by database tables like trade skills, but I have not been able to tell which tables.

all quest related things are in perl files
the thing in DB are used for Tasks system only - look in Development section for some explnation how to work with tasks- they rather complex

Thank you for your reply. What you suggested is kinda basic and I should have already done that. I am frustrated with myself for not doing the basic research before posting a question. I usually do better than this.

I learned a lot looking at the documentation, but I still have questions. I will post them in the Quest Q&A forum.
