I'm a huge fan of Everquest and want to play on EQ Emu

Hello,

I'm new to this and the website only has dead links to the downloads - what do I need to download if I want to get connected to an EQEmu server? Do I need to download the Admin tools or is that just for setting up your own? do people host public ones for other players?

Please let me know, sounds like fun!

The first thing you will need to do is obtain the EQ Titanium CD's. Your best bet will be an online retailer or eBay. Then install Titanium, but do not patch. You will need to change your eqhosts.txt file to point to the Login Server. Make a shortcut to eqgame.exe and add "patchme" to the end of it so it will not patch. Finally, under User CP here on a the forums, create a Login Server account so you can actually log in and play (towards the bottom on the left).
