Can't set a password

I'm using the minilogin to run an offline standalone portable server. It runs fine, but for some reason doesn't require me to input a correct password. As long as I type anything into the Everquest login, it loads me in. Why is this? And what can I change to set up a proper password?

Pretty sure minilogin just uses the ip address. If you want an actual login server you should use eqemuloginserver.

my opinion only i'll throw my 2 cents in the dev's are using another persons code from a copy and past from another sites and stuffing that code in programing and calling it good enough because they have a hard time trusting in there own programing skills. They are just proud of his copy and past jobs of code i'm not pointing the finger but i have a good idea how it is someone that posted alot of code i'll just leave it at that and let it go. If he pokes his head in and start to comment i'll throw the bone out on the table and let them chew on this.
