YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED..........?!

i keep gettign this at two points:

1. just after the char selections screen when i go to zone into the game

2. abytime after 10 min of duration oif glameplay regardless of what i am doing

it varies from 10 min to 2 hours canu help me out??? this doesnt happen in EQlive so i'm thinking its due to wither a server problem or my config when i installed EQemu /shrug

This is a problem i have been coming accross also, it occurs anywhere from bout 5 secs after i get into the game all the way upto i would say 30 mins into playing. i don't know if it is the server side or client side i currently have been playing on Lethal Encounter (i think thats how you spell it)

another note is one of my chars died and everytime i try to log them in it logs in fine but it has the sound of when u die and says returning to home. my name in top right corner has corpse instead of the name of the character Illiana.

They are the only problems i have ran accross so far in my gametime, i think the emu is very nice keep up the good work =)

I was having the "you died" bug on Freedom Alliance the other day. I logged my toon in fine, changed zones and died immediately on zoning. From then on, I die soon as I zone in. I just deleted the toon and recreated. {Shrug} It's all good now, but maybe in retrospect I should have asked one of the GM's if they wanted to look at it before I deleted.

I guess I didn't think it was an "issue" worth being looked into.

We're pretty sure it has to do with Lore items.. i'v had this happen a few times to me as well and the only way to fix it right now is remake character :(

In regards to #2, I have this happen to me ALOT.. i cant go more than 20 minutes before my commands stop working, i cant cast spells, zone, camp, ect... then it takes about 5 minutes after THAT for me to get diconnected (the downtime sucks.. i would rather just get disconnected).

Do you go above level 65 on your characters? like to 100 or 200 or 255?

Also try changing your datarate.txt to 8.0 or 10.

There are multiple causes of the death bug, but the variation that I have seen is that when you login, immediately you die within a second of zoning in. There is also a bug with lore items that cause you to lose hp (about 100 HP every tick). Getting back to the death bug about zoning in, I think I have this fixed on my server, Im still doing some testing but if everything works out ok then Ill put it in the next version. The root cause of this bug is a spell is bugging the client (more than likely Metamorphosis65). If you get those spells removed server side it fixes the problem and you can log in normally.
P.S. If you get stuck in gam and cant you spells,camp,inventory,etc. Type #cast 1212. The bug your describing in a movement bug, casting this movement buff (or maybe any movement buff) will fix the problem.
