Hey there. Im new to this and wondering what EQemu actually does for you. I mean can you make yourself lvl 65 with the best gear in game and just have fun killing big mobs and stuff or is it different and you have to lvl your guy up all the way?

depend on what server you play.
But you can do what ever you want.

eqemu makes you an everquest god if you run your own server. Most GMs limit your powers so that it's still semi-legit.

On your own server, if you want to be level 70 with 3 Cazic Thule pets and every epic weapon held in a different slot of your armor, that's possible.

well if you wanted to make a single moderator character to deal with problems that would arise with other people you could just make a god character and use it as you willed fun fun fun for the whole family ..
