Default Login to Guildwars?

I'm getting a 1017 error, but I followed the instructions to the letter.

1. Installed EQ w/ all expansions minus LoY
2. Ran UOLive's patch process
3. Downloaded and ran EqEmu's patcher 1.01
4. Downloaded and installed the eqhosts.txt file into the eq dir
5. Ran Eqgame

This takes me to the correct login screen and my acct works
BUT when i click on Guildwars or any other server,
it just gives a 1017 error. What did I do wrong?

I am assuming step 2 is in error since LoY isn't supported
and the UOLive patch introduces LoY Files, no?
Does this mean I have to totally reinstall all of EQ
from scratch again.. good grief..

Thanks for any assistance..

Did you get any errors with eqemu patcher? Try it again and post results here.

Default Patch works fine

I installed the patcher correctly and it patches just fine..

says "All files OK for EQEmu!", I installed into the folder:

Program Files > Sony > EQ Triliogy
