Not enough information to help: We need what's inside these files(copy and paste them to this post)

eqhost.txt
boot5zones.bat
minilogin.exe
db.ini
loginserver.ini

we also need what version worlddata, database, emulator you are using, and also what os you have. You also have to have all these files

minilogin.exe
mysql
the eqemu emulator
eqemu patcher
worlddata
you may also need to get the eqnpc file from edwardpinninger.bctalk.net to convert the .txt files to .sql files in your mysql/bin folder. After you have all those properly installed and in the right directories come back and paste what's in the files i listed above (remember to always mask your password/username with ****) in this forum and we will be able to tell you what to write.

If your patcher is timing out, disable all firewalls, routers, antivirus. Try again. If it still fails, contact ISP regarding proxies. If they exist, ask if you could bypass. If the respond that they don't have them or that they don't disable them, try another ISP. Borrow a friend's dialup account and buy an $8 modem off pricewatch.
