Default more CTD problems concerning luclin

EQ crashes to desktop between server and char. It states that I've registered luclin even though I haven't, and tells me that I have to copy the right files (luclin textures, etc) to the eq directory.

Is there a way to override this without having to buy the luclin addon? a way to disable the luclin models and gfx so that I can run standard eq?

That has absolutely nothing to do with crashing because i crash too (i have all expantions). it is a known bug and happens to almost everyone and can sometimes be fixed by deleteing char.

oh yeah? well, anyways I managed to fix some of the crashes though by deactivating texture compression.. that may, or may not help you at all ;)

and yup, now when I can enter the game I experience all the other crashes that I've been reading about, hehe. :)
