Accidentle GM in EQlive

Lol, anyone know the eqlive GM commands? Friend logged on with GM status and hes on /who all gm but he never did anything to become GM. Lol hes getting tells for it. But he tried /goto and /summon but he cant get em to work yet. Rest commands dont work, any ideas what he should try? He did /goto 0 0 0 and red text saying going to 0 0 0. Lol he tried /kill but it just says Killing target. In red text but doesent do anything. Lol o ya hes not KoS to ANYTHING hehe.

hey...is this Everquest like you talking about?... if so try #zone #summon (Name i think....) #summonitem or just #zone Cshome if you have the files if it is Eqlive as i say again not Eqemu

He could be telling the truth, on occassions EQLive characters have gotten temporary GM flags, sometimes sony bans them and its sony's fault....

Happened to me once... all I got from a GM, which was really stupid was a "You have been warned and your account is flagged." then a "You Are No Longer a GM" in red text.

Any # command will not work, they are not eq's normal commands. You cannot do any of the fun commands with the normal client, you need the gm client. /zone, /lastname,/toggle, /summon,/kill, /kick,/hideme etc should work if they are a gm with the proper status. Generally this will occur when a GM is on your char for whatever reason, so you are likely on your way to being banned to begin with. Best bet is to /pr Hey, I'm not a gm, I have a gm flag, fix plz if there is another gm or guide on. If you go around abusing it, yeah they will probably ban you even though it is their fault.

Banned...pssh... Good...you shouldn't be paying for their craptacular service anyway.

That was my final reason for leaving. Foudn out someone had stolen my account when I returned to the game after a 6 month hiatus and SOE says "Sorry, we can't return your account to you because that person has been paying for it this whole time" So much for their "No transferring or selling accounts" rule. They suck ass...

...I need more coffee....

He doesn't have the GM client, so none of the live commands will work anyway. Not to mention the GM client will only connect while in use on SOE's internal network.

Hah leave it to SoE to ban someone for their own mistake. Oh well like rex said...you shouldnt be paying for their servers anyway

I can't believe I'm going to say this but...

In SOE's defence... it may be their fault that a player is flagged as a GM, but it's the player's fault for not reporting it. Just like if you discover a bug in the game... no problem if you report it. But, if you exploit the bug, you'll get flagged.

Well he lost the GM tag and his green name and the ppl spamming him with problems. But now he lost his elemental flag for some reason =p. O well was cool while he had it.
