How do you make a server On internet

How do you make it so your LAN server ( Iset up a minilogin server) To be put on the NET. For example. Anyone on my network can login, BUT i want others to log in also (NOT ON EQ EMU LOGIN SERVERS) I want the server to be limited to my friends only. I want to make it so Someone thats not in the network can login and play, I do not want anyone except the people i want to play. Like. Can i give my IP adress and ppl put in the hosts file and Boom play. (After everything is set up of course. If so What do i have to change from a minilogin server for it to work Online. I put this under How to forum becase im requesting help on "HOW TO put this on net...." Get it?! Thanks !

Just change the "WorldServer=127.0.0.1" line in your LoginServer.ini file to whatever your external IP Address is. Then make your friends change their eqhost.txt file to point to that for both their "[Registration Servers]" and "[Login Servers]."

You'll also need to create an account for everyone in your DB and in your MiniLoginAccounts.ini. This will need to be done manually.

I would think that's all you'd need to do. Of course it's only going to work if you ISP allows you to have a "server" set up at home, which most don't.

Here watch this movie and you may get it. Its a movie on how to create a minilogin server. BTW you also need to change ports from (default) 5997 to 5999 so make sure you do that.

Thanks i can do thoose, how do i create an account in The Minologinaccounts.ini i think i got the other one (Cmd ---> Eqemu---> World.exe Adduser Blah blah Did all that) but how do i make one in The Miniloginaccounts.ini =P Please post. I belive my ISP allows me to make servers because i have done so with Ragnarok Online. Go optimum Online heh! ThX Will i also ened to change LOCALHOST in my boot5zones.bat? Internel, External, Instead of Localhost?

Oh Thanks, Feal kinda stupid now heh ^_^ , Still looking for an answer :( Should i change the Ip from Internet inside Login.ini ---> LOGINSERVEr, my ip in LOGINSERVER is set as internel, Is that ok for the Online thingy? And should i change the ips from local host inside my boot5zones.bat thingy? Thx!
