AHHHH!!! I need help, just started, and its not working!!!!!

HEy wazzup, im new!(thats not hard to realize

) So, i want to play evercrack, but its not working. I did everything you guys said to do. THe eqhost.txt thing, and all the other stuff. But when i try to login, but its not working. I put in my login server name and password, but yet i do not prevail. So, heres my question, what the HELL am i doing wrong? OK, do you use you activation key for the password? Hey, and another thing, i can't find datarate.txt . That might be the problem. But, i need help. please someone help me.

also how do you patch to eq live? HELLLP

First, you have to patch to Live, thats probably your problem if you haven't. To do that just run Everquest.exe. Once it finishes downlaoding you'll be patched to live. Then follow the steps and you'll get on. And datarate.txt does not exist by default, you need to create it.

i bet hes runing everquest.exe and not a shortcut of eqgame.exe

Don't ever post like this.

Always say WHERE and WHAT your getting when it crashes , if it just hangs, any errors , type them , post your eqhost.txt .. Argh

Also, if you are in the EU somewhere, you need to use the old login, available through a search , or you need to grab an american everquest.exe from somewhere , to patch.

Make sure you are running through (for example, mine is)
Target: C:\EQEmu\eqgame.exe patchme

Not double clicking Everquest.exe !

Ok been playing for a few days with no real problem then today I try to log in and it seems to be ok UNTIL---I enter my password and it crashes back to desktop---no errors no nothing. Just stops running. 8-(.

Any clue?

Go threw and reset it up, and see if that works.

alright i fixed it. Sorry for posting like this, my friend came over and fixed it for me and read my post. He said dont post like this again or ill get flamed
