Since when did the dev team turn on eachother??!
I want to make it clear that I've been on this site since the dawn of the project and never have I once seen the dev team turn on eachother like this. I only recently have read up about the drama between Devn00b, Image, Wiz, and the others. I don't go on this site much anymore, maybe once or twice a month, reading up on the forums and news, and everything has always been slow but progressive over time, which is why I have never lost hope in the project. Developers have come and gone, some more devoted than the next, some staying for years, others just months. It used to be about true dedication of one's free-time. There used to be devotion and passion, and now it seems to be some kind of power-trip joke to a few of the people in the dev team. It's like the love for EQ has faded and drama has invaded. The new and improved EQEmu is great, but it seems a lot of the original servers have been dropped and many people have left. The server list used to be huge. Why has it come to this?

From what I can tell, it looks like it's mostly the "power trip jokers" that are going, and the ones that give a **** about the project staying.
I hope I'm not proven wrong.

Not meaning to start anything, but I have NEVER seen Wiz get into any nastiness. He seems one of the most levelheaded persons on this board.

But Draupner left, Then Baron, then like 5 other peeps. because someone wanted to ban Image.
Some of the Devs need to get a life.
Others Just need to learn that they dont rule the world

I wasn't saying anything bad about Wiz, he's awesome and always has been, I just thought he had gotten into some shit w/ one of the Devs that felt like being an asshole to him. Sorry I haven't been on lately. But seriously, like you said Relorm, some of the Devs seriously need to get lives.

Honestly, there's always been in-fighting in the project for as long as I've been around (which has been for almost all the lifetime of the project)
Usually a developer (or 5) leaves and then there's a fight for power. Happens quite frequently, but doesn't really mark the end of the project, or hasn't in the past at least.

Draupner left his status, but he still is posting on boards & Stuff.
Wiz is the Nicest developer i've yet to see.. He doesnt flame anyone unless someone flames him which is rare. (FYI- Dont mess with developers  )

Scorpious2k, I heard your server is Non-Legit and allows you to do some GM stuff like spawning things and changing your race....is that true? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure s2k is legit, it just allows purchases of uber items for cheap and other crazy shit. People hit like a mad-house etc. and leveling is easy
