anyone tried this?

Just wondering,
I have 3 systems running on cable modem, connected via linksys 5 port hub, not a router.
Has anyone tried making a log in server on one system, then running eqemu on a 2nd computer, then EQ on a third? At least maybe that would bypass all the mini login problems?
Just curious before I try it.
