LOL

I agree with Spike. I have been around sence 3.8. It was like every week that EQlive have a new patch that broke EQEMu and no one knew about tell it F"ed them and wouldnt let them connect. I remeber when i got my server running I wanted to stay up-to-date I didnt go to www.eqemu.com (thats what it was at the time) to see if there was a new EQlive patch. Also you need more then the DLL and exes ... I know becuase i backed up like 50Mbs of DLLs EXEs XMLs and few other file types and when i patched to EQlive and it F'ed my server client I recopied those files into my dir...

Another way i can explane it. Try to re name one of the zone to another zone name and try to play. I think the client checks to see what file sizes all of map(zones) are before it loads them.
So if you want to back up your EQEMu folder i would say you would have to copy the whole thing.

And lets say your HD is 20Gbs:
WindowsXP 1.5GB Windows98 250MB
Drivers for both about 100MBs
OEM programs 1GB.
windows updates 200MBs
Everquest 5GBs
EVerquest backup 5GBs
DX9.0 9MBs +50-100MB
PF 200-1GB
thats about 15GBs file there.

thats alot of disk space if thats all you have on it.
