Default Cannot connect to server

The error i am having is when someone else other than me tries to connect to my public server they get the error "cannot connect to server" after they create a char on the char select screen. this has happened to me on all version of the installer pack and the other versions of the eqemu. heres the specs of what i have setup. keep in mind it does let me in when i log into the game with the server running on the same system.

The current setup is the EQEmuServerPack-3.0 available for download. via this thread http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20314
and this file
http://eqemu.sesmar.net/sp/EQEmuServerPack-3.0.exe

1) i am not using minilogon in anyform, i use the c:\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme command"

2) MySQL 4.0.24 installed

3) Active Perl 5.8.2 installed

4) map files installed

5) no firewall

6) using a dlink wireless router with open ports for the eqemu to use 7000 - 7500, & 9000

7) the database sources without error

Cool i make no changes to the database to see if its something i have changed that caused it but still recieve the error when people connect.

9) system specs are:

windows xp pro SP2
3.0 ghz
1 gig ram
1 80 gig 7200 rpm hd with server installed
1 120 gig 7200 rpm hd with client installed

10) i have a compatible client version and so do the few people i have PMed that i seen log into the server.

this error isnt limited to just one person i see people trying to log into my server and get the same message. i followed the setup of the server pack to the letter but i still get the problem.

any help would be great.

Thanks

Leyan
