The PC specs are:

AMD Athlon XP 2800+
1 Gig DDR Ram
Geforce FX 5900 XT
Soundblaster Audigy 2 platnium
OS: Gentoo Linux 2007.0
Kernel: 2.6.20-r8-gentoo

I haven't tried VM ware yet, I thought the performance hit would be too much.
