Starting over building the server, need advice which laptop will work best.
I'm having a horrendous time with this on my desktop already setup as a webserver, so I'm just going to put the EQServer onto a laptop, but I'm not sure which would be better off as a server box.
Dell //Unused Currently
(1x)3GHz Intel Processor (86)
512MB DDR (maybe DDR2) RAM
80GB HDD
Acer //@HOME project number cruncher.
(2x) 1.87GHz Intel Processor (86/64)
3GB DDR2 RAM
250GB HDD
Mind you, whichever is chosen will be a dedicated box, running Windows Server 2003.
One has high speed processor, other has more RAM, and being dedicated to just EQ Server, I'm thinking the Dell would probably work best.
