So, we've gotten some AWESOME feedback even before the server hit alpha that kind of made us step back and see something, what we were doing was looking at this from a approach of Everquest with a little Diablo, we got feedback from a couple people stating to sway away from EQ tactics (Tank//healer), and go more towards Diablo tactics (everyone can tank everything)
So TDLR;
Alpha will now have 5 classes! - These classes will be what we make LIVE.
Additional classes will be released with expansions.
The Class List is updated on
our website. (Descriptions soon to follow).
Gems - Much like Diablo gems will be able to be inserted into gear.
EVERY CLASS will have some type of healing ability, plus potions that are open to be used from the General Vendor.
Gear - Has randomized stats on it, over 1,000 custom items have been added for the first zone.
Weapons - While some weapons are restricted by class their stats are ALL Randomized.
Mobs - Will have HIGHER hit points, to make up for this, they lack a bunch of damage, this being said, if you aggro 50 mobs, expect to die, still.
Bosses - Will have strategies built into them, allowing every class to be able to solo them with some effort brought into it.
Loot - Loot in general is done by a ITEM LEVEL drop rate. Example; Normal Sword is Item Level 10 that mobs 1-5 will drop, mobs 6-10 will drop Item Level 11 (or 15, un-decided).
We want to say, once again, SORRY about the delay, but getting feedback before the server even opens is just... amazing, makes us look twice or three times at it. Lol... As a unrelated post -- Here is a video.
