How do you make a server On internet

How do you make it so your LAN server ( Iset up a minilogin server) To be put on the NET. For example. Anyone on my network can login, BUT i want others to log in also (NOT ON EQ EMU LOGIN SERVERS) I want the server to be limited to my friends only. I want to make it so Someone thats not in the network can login and play, I do not want anyone except the people i want to play. Like. Can i give my IP adress and ppl put in the hosts file and Boom play. (After everything is set up of course. If so What do i have to change from a minilogin server for it to work Online.
